Please check eligibility criteria here and take note of waiting times between your last booster/Covid infection.
Who should get a vaccine once a year
You should get a COVID-19 vaccine once a year if you are age: 60 to 79 or 6 months and older with a health condition that puts you at higher risk of complications from COVID-19
Who should get a vaccine twice a year
You should get a COVID-19 vaccine twice a year if you are age: 80 and older or 18 and older living in a long-term care facility for older people or 6 months and older with a weak immune system that puts you at higher risk of complications from COVID-19
You can receive vaccinations here in Mercer's if you fit the criteria, or via the HSE or at participating pharmacies. Healthcare workers can avail of a booster dose via the HSE also, details here.
Please see this page for information on the rollout of vaccines for children.
Even if you have been fully vaccinated, it is important to remember that you can still transmit the virus to others (but remain asymptomatic yourself), and also that vaccination is not successful in at least 5% of people.
For these reasons, if you become symptomatic, then the same advice and restrictions that were previously in place still apply.
These guidelines are updated regularly, so please continue to check back for new information.
